Dear GBCCA Members and Friends, This is to remind you that the GBCCA summer BBQ is tomorrow. The weather report indicates that there might be scattered showers and passing thunderstorms in late afternoon or early evening. As of now, we will keep our out-door plan. If the rain starts early, we will move inside the GBCCA building. This is an annual event for GBCCA families to see each other in a relaxing, casual atmosphere; no food preparations, not much cleaning work. Just come to enjoy hot dogs or hamburgers and nice conversation. If you haven’t gotten a chance to reply (or if you didn’t receive the previous announcement), do not worry. You are still welcome. Dear GBCCA Members, Despite the heavy rain storm on Saturday afternoon, over 50 people attended the seminar, “A Holistic Approach to a Better M.E.A.L.” Thanks to those who came to support this event. Now, I am glad to let you know that another fun event is underway: GBCCA summer barbeque is on Sat. 7/24 from 12:00 noon to 3:00pm at Auburndale Cove of Newton. It will be free of charge to current GBCCA members and families and $3.00/person for non-members. Please RSVP to GBCCA office by either e-mail or phone (617)332-0377 before 7/17. In case of rain, we will have the gathering inside the GBCCA building. The announcement will be made on Friday 7/23 based on the weather report. Please pay attention to it and check GBCCA website for updates. As always, volunteers are welcome. Please let us know if you are able to help.
